Verlan as the variant youth slang on the example of the feature film Hatred

Abstract

This article deals with the research
of tendencies in modern French language. One of the
ways in which tendencies is considered the change
in lexical structure of language which can be seen
in colloquial style. One of the variants of youth language
in France is verlan. In this article verlan is analysed
from the lexical, morphological and phonetic
points of view, the psychological and social components
of verlan are also highlighted here.
