LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS OF HIP-HOP CULTURE LANGUAGE AS A SOCIAL GROUP RESEARCH METHOD

Abstract

The necessity of linguistic analysis of the language used within a separate social group as the way to make an objective description of the group and detailed analysis of its sociolinguistic characteristics is explained in the .article. The subject of the research is the community of hip-hop culture - a youth movement that appeared a few years ago. Results of similar cross discipline -socio-linguistic - research conducted by foreign scientists, particularly American, are analysed.
