<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The necessity of linguistic analysis of the language used within a separate social group as the way to make an objective description of the group and detailed analysis of its sociolinguistic characteristics is explained in the .article. The subject of the research is the community of hip-hop culture - a youth movement that appeared a few years ago. Results of similar cross discipline -socio-linguistic - research conducted by foreign scientists, particularly American, are analysed.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>социолингвистика</kwd><kwd>социальная группа</kwd><kwd>хип-хоп культура</kwd><kwd>афроамериканский английский</kwd><kwd>анализ текстов</kwd><kwd>sociolinguistics</kwd><kwd>social group</kwd><kwd>hip-hop culture</kwd><kwd>lyrics' analysis</kwd><kwd>African-American English</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Смелзер Нейл.
