ON COMPONENTS OF AMERICAN SCIENCE-FICTION DISCOURSE

Abstract

In this article the author describes three components of science fiction discourse: inventive, social and dispositive. The peculiarities of each such as their historical development are described. The Author points out advantages of the classification based on these components over the thematic classification. Statistic data based on I. Asimov and R. Heinlein’s works is given to prove this statement.
