LEXICO-SEMANTIC GROUPS OF VERBS, COMPATIBLE WITH THE LEXEME “SMILE” IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, “SOURIRE”(M.) IN THE FRENCH LANGUAGE AND “УЛЫБКА”(Ж. Р.) IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract
The present article presents the analysis of lexico-semantic compatibility in free word combinations. Grammatical types of free word combinations are rather well-studied, but components of a grammatically correct word combination should also be lexically and semantically compatible. The article presents a comparative research of verbs, compatible with the lexeme “smile” in the English language, “sourire”(m.) in the French language and “улыбка”(ж.р.) in the Russian language and their classification according to the lexico-semantic characteristics. The research contributes to the solution of a general theoretic problem of lexico-semantic compatibility of free word combination components.
