Psycholinguistic basis of the process of interference formation observed under Russian-Spanish language contact

Abstract
Aim. The purpose of this article is to determine the psycholinguistic basis of interference observed under Spanish-Russian language contact.
Methodology. The paper presents the study of the oral speech of Spanish-speaking Russians held with the help of the complex of different linguistic methods: survey, interview, linguistic experiment.
Results. In accordance with the results of the research various interference mistakes were revealed. An incorrect form of a link-verb as well as a redundant usage of a personal pronoun are presented as some key examples of interference in this paper.
Research implications. The research results contribute to the theory of language contact and can be applied in different psycholinguistic researches as well as in the process of psycholinguistic teaching.
