Legal terminology translation in the reflection of ontolinguistics: necessity or redundancy?

Abstract
Aim. The purpose of the research is to identify the degree of relevance and the efficiency of using ontolinguistic approaches in translating legal terminology in the context of the children's film genre.
Methodology. The issue of the intercultural transmission of a legal term in the children's film genre is considered on the basis of the methods of scientific description, comparative, translation, contextual-semantic, typological, cultural, stylistic, as well as ontolinguistic analysis.
Results. The main translation difficulties that arise when working with children's film text are highlighted, such as the translation of a term in a song, abbreviations, anthroponyms, or a component of a language game. Conclusions are drawn about translation decisions when transferring or refusing to transfer the legal term used in the children's film text.
Research implications. The theoretical significance of the work can be seen through scientific description of the use of the main provisions of ontolinguistics in the process of interlanguage transformation of legal terminology. This approach makes it possible to expand the understanding of translation of industry terminology. It also helps to understand the system of implementing additional translation tools in solving translation tasks aimed at the recipient of a translation product presented not only by an adult but also by a children's audience.
