Peculiarities of the use of the infinitive in sanskrit (as opposed to latin and Ancient Greek): part I

Abstract

This article compares the theory of
the origin of the infinitive in the languages of the
Eastern (Sanskrit) and western (Latin, Greek)
types of identifying differences in the morphological
and syntactic levels. It also covers the particular use
of the Sanskrit infinitive and its functions similar to
those infinitives in Latin and Greek languages
