On the problem of homonymy in the english nanotechnology terminology
Abstract
Consideration is given to inter-disciplinary
and internal terminological homonymy in
the terminology of nanotechnology sublanguage. It
is shown that inter-disciplinary homonymy characteristic
of all research fields at the interface, in the
nanotechnology terminology is not always eliminated
by the context since many of the disciplines
involved are closely related to one another as to their
subject of investigation and methods used.
