EVOLUTION OF CONCEPTUAL APPROACHES TO THE STUDY OF THE FAIRY TALE FORM, STRUCTURE AND CONTENTS

Abstract

The main conceptual approaches to the study of the fairy tale in Russia and abroad are shown in the article. The author studies the conceptual viewpoints of the representatives of the folkloricist, anthropologist and historicist approaches, the theory of the literary plot migration and the results of the fairy tale classification and cataloging. The fairy tale has been the object of research for specialists in psychoanalysis, sociolinguistics and genderlinguistics, the most interesting examples of the fairy tale interpretation from these viewpoints are included in the article. The author predicts the growth of interest in fairy tales studies due to the cultural and ideological changes which take place in the society at every stage of its development.
