SPORTS DISCOURSE OPPOSITIONS (IN DANCING TERMINOLOGY)
Abstract
Oppositions are typical for any type of discourse, but in linguoculturological phenomenon of modern sports discourse they have specific characterisics. The article is devoted to the frequency analysis on the concordance base of sports dances terminology with the purpose to prove the presence of the special opposition idea in this kind of sports. Particular attention is paid to thematic parts of data selection results of dancesport terminology. The results allowed to make certain conclusions about frequency of certain terms, including the terms forming the fundamental opposition “us - them”.
