Anglicisms in the civil law of the modern French language

Abstract
Aim. The article considers Anglicisms from the French Civil Code (Code Civil) and court decisions borrowed and introduced into the Code during the 2010–2020s. The purpose of the study is to characterize English-language terms in the restricted professional vocabulary of the French language.
Methodology. In order to conduct this research, international information resources, texts of laws and articles were used. The method of continuous sampling of Anglicisms that arose in the texts of laws in the period from 2010 to 2020 was used.
Results. The analysis revealed the English borrowed terms and Anglicisms in the legal texts of the modern French language from 2010 to 2020.
Research implications. The theoretical and practical significance lies in the fact that the obtained results, as well as the illustrative materials, can be used in teaching the course of lexicology of the French language.
