The problem of parametrization of discursive markers in the works of foreign linguists (using the example of the French language)

Abstract
Aim. To analyze, generalize and identify similarities and differences in the parameters of discursive markers from the point of view of foreign linguists.
Methodology. The main content of the article is the analysis and synthesis of the views of foreign researchers on such a linguistic phenomenon as discursive markers.
Results. The analysis made it possible to identify the following parameters of discursive markers: phonetic and phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic, stylistic, sociolinguistic, pragmatic. Some classifications of discursive markers are presented, a number of functions performed by them are noted. The functioning of discursive markers at the level of microsyntax is revealed.
Research implications. The comprehensive review of the parameters of discursive markers contributes to modern research of discursive markers, particularly in the issues of their functioning at different levels of syntax. In conclusion, the author formulated proposals for the study of these units within the category of subjectivity.
