The modern fields of pragmalinguistics research

Abstract

Aim is to characterize modern fields and trends in pragmalinguistics, to determine their specifics and main research problems.
Methodology. The paper uses the descriptive method, which is a system of procedures for collecting factual material and its description based on observation. The analysis of modern research trends in pragmalinguistics is carried out with the identification of their features and the definition of the main research problems.
Results. A comprehensive overview of modern research fields and trends in pragmalinguistics is given, the main research problems of each trends and fields are characterized.
Research implications. This review provides comprehensive understanding of modern fields and trends in pragmalinguistic research.
