PSYCHOLINGUISTIC APPROACH TO THE DETERMINATION OF BASIC EMOTIONS

Abstract

Determination of the category "basic emotions" is essentially important for psycholinguistic researches as they (emotions) are obviously reflected in human consciousness. The article enumerates different criteria referring emotions either to basic or to secondary ones. An experimental procedure is elaborated to make the list of the basic emotions which can be recommended for various researches concerning emotional vocabulary.
