Psycholinguistic aspects of verbal characteristic of personal and professional managerial qualities of senior executives of Venezuela
Abstract
In this article we detail the psycholinguistic
and linguistic aspects of verbal characteristic
of personal and professional managerial
qualities of senior executives of Venezuela. The article
analyzes one of the most popular television series
in Venezuela, which depicts skillfully the image
of the President of the country Hugo Chavez, who
served as the prototype for the main character of the
series named Olegario. Chavez comes and stays in
power due to the strong identification between him
(the president of Venezuela) and an average Venezuelan.
This fact is reflected in his verbal means.
The article discusses the relationship of personality
traits with verbal means of management, as well as
the culture-relevant lexical units forming an integral
part of the Venezuelan national variant of the Spanish
language and language-specific view of the world
