Representation of the concept «friendship» in the spoken speech (on the base of the Russian and Spanish languages)

Abstract

The present article contains description
and comparison of main structural and significant
characteristics of the concept friendship in
the Russian and Spanish languages; friendship ties
are determined via their functional and pragmatic
direction; lexical and semantic field of the concept
friendship in communicational and explicit space
is also expressed. The article shows the phenomenon
of the friendship image existing in the modern national
consciousness of Russian and Spanish natives;
verbal expression of the image in spoken speech is
compared and contrasted. The results are evidenced
by the data obtained within the associative experiment
which involved Russian and Spanish natives
