Television documentary: link between genre and format
Abstract
Terms genre and format are not
interchangeable. Instead of this they are interdependent
and do demonstrate viewers role in creation
of a documentary. Both genre and format serve
one purpose of construction a nonverbal dialog with
a viewer, but while format develops according to
producers interest, the genre summarizes authors
personal view on the subject of a film
