The realization of conceptual imagery within the framework of accentual-syllabic versification
Abstract
The present article is devoted to the problem of realization of conceptual imagery in poetic texts illustrated by the works of English poets of the modernistic tradition. Special attention is given to the description of stylistic means that ensure formation of imagery within the framework of accentual-syllabic versification, when image-bearing specificity of the language is used down to the limit.
