On diachronic research in branch terminilogy
Abstract
The article studies branch terminology
in its infancy on the basis of anthropolinguistic
and cognitive approaches. The analysis is performed
of English railway terms formation with particular
emphasis put on common and specific features of
British and American professional world-image.
