Aspectual Verbal Forms in Performatve Utterances in Proposition
Abstract
The present article aims at considering
aspectual verbal forms in the proposition of
preformative utterances with the verbs swear and
promise. The author analyzes the aspectual forms
of the given verbs, making use of the universal formulae
invented by W.E. Bull. The author also continues
to the set of W.E. Bulls formulae, taking into
consideration the specific character of proposition in
performative utterances
