Abstract
The article discusses specific characteristics
of a Timeline as a type of biographical
texts on the Internet in comparison with traditional
biographical profiles in printed and electronic sources.
The paper also suggests possible criteria for the
classification of the given type of the text and its delimitation
from other allied types of texts.
