В статье анализируется новое научное издание - специализированный словарь терминов, относящихся к теории межкультурной коммуникации. Данный словарь рассматривается как терминографическое издание, фиксирующее лексические единицы, призванные номинировать понятия, принадлежащие определённой отрасли научного знания. При анализе вокабуляра и структуры словаря отмечается, что данный словарь является пособием, способствующим закреплению дисциплины «Теория межкультурной коммуникации» в качестве оформившейся самостоятельной научной и учебной дисциплины.
A new scientific publication - a specialised dictionary of terms related to the theory of intercultural communication - is analysed in the article. The dictionary in question is regarded as a terminographic work fixing lexical units used to name the notions which belong to a certain field of scientific knowledge. The dictionary content and structure are analysed and it is pointed out that the dictionary serves to promote fixing the subject “The Theory of Intercultural Communication” as a fully formed branch of science and an independent subject for studies.
