Статистические данные о частотности употребления описываемых лексических единиц подтверждают их широкое распространение в англоязычном дискурсе. Поставленные задачи решаются с позиций прагматического подхода к описанию исследуемых языковых единиц. Приводится эмпирический материал, иллюстрирующий выдвигаемые положения о специфических функциональных характеристиках позиционных маркеров в зависимости от реализуемой коммуникативной цели.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article highlights functional features of English stance markers in conditions of a communicative situation. The author also classifies stance markers on the basis of pragmatic approach and analyses their parts of speech classification.
