Предлагаемая статья посвящена рассмотрению основных этапов формирования и развития психолингвистики как особой научной дисциплины. Даётся краткая характеристика каждого из анализируемых периодов и выявляется как существующая между ними преемственная связь, так и специфика в подходе к разрешению стоящих перед данной областью задач. Отмечается, что указанный процесс отражает общую тенденцию к синтезу научного знания, ярко проявившуюся во второй половине прошлого века. Подчёркивается, что отечественная психолингвистика опиралась как на достижения русской лингвистической и психологической мысли (И.А. Бодуэн де Куртенэ, Л.С. Выготский, А.Н. Леонтьев и др.), так и на идеи западных учёных, в связи с чем особое внимание уделяется трудам А.А. Леонтьева.
The article considers the main stages of formation and development of Psycholinguistics as a special scientific discipline. The main features of each analyzed period are presented. The existing connection between the periods as well as specificity of the way of treating and solving tasks in this field of Linguistics are described. It’s also stated that the mentioned process expresses a general tendency to the synthesis of scientific knowledge which became most pronounced in the second part of the previous century. It’s stressed that National Psycholinguistics is based on the achievements of both Russian Linguistics and Psycholinguistics (Boduen de Courtenay M.A., Vygotskii L.S., Leontiev A.N. et al) and the ideas of Western scientists, therefore special attention is paid to the works of Leontiev A.A.
