В статье рассматриваются особенности перевода исламских антропонимов, обозначающих официальные имена, фамилии, прозвища, именные приставки. Статья построена на основе анализа оригинала и перевода англоязычного романа Халеда Хоссейни «Бегущий за ветром». При помощи лингвистических методов выборки, дифференциации, описания и сравнения анализируются лексико-семантические проблемы перевода. Автор обобщает основные переводческие стратегии и приходит к выводу, что сложности передачи исламских антропонимов на русский язык обуславливаются их национальным своеобразием и яркой образностью. Настоящая статья может представлять интерес для специалистов в области теории и практики перевода.
The article deals with the problem of translation of Islamic anthroponyms designating personal names, surnames and nicknames. The study is based on the novel "The Kite Runner" by the modern writer Khaled Hosseini. The methods of the linguistic analysis, namely: selection, differentiating, description, comparison are used to analyze lexical-semantic peculiarities of translation. Special attention is paid to the translation strategies and principles. The author concludes that the main difficulties in translation are determined by the national identity and vivid imagery of Islamic anthroponyms. Results of research can be used in both theory and practice of translation.
