<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Aim is to study the phenomenon of linguopragmatic peculiarities of egocentric units of language functioning in ASMR-discourse.Methodology. The descriptive method, the method of interpretation, analysis, synthesis, contextual analysis, and the functional-pragmatic method were key research methods. The material of the study was 102 shorts with the hashtags #АСМР, #ASMR on RuTube video hosting, with a total duration of ~102 minutes.Results. Such functions of egocentric language units in ASMR-discourse as identification of participants of the communicative situation; personalization and realization of speech strategy of approaching the addressee; transfer of social relations between speakers (polite You, inclusive we, concrete-referent you); elimination of asynchrony and creation of a common mental space-time continuum of the communicative situation were discovered.Research implications. The directions for future research are the application of the method proposed in this article to identify the discursive strategies and tactics used to initiate “goosebumps”.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>АСМР</kwd><kwd>дискурс</kwd><kwd>эгоцентрические элементы</kwd><kwd>дейксис</kwd><kwd>видеотекст</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ASMR</kwd><kwd>discourse</kwd><kwd>egocentric units of language</kwd><kwd>deixis</kwd><kwd>videotext</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Barratt E.L., Davis N.J.
