Цель – выявление и описание особенностей репрезентации концепта HEIMAT (РОДИНА) в современном немецкоязычном афористическом дискурсе.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. В работе используется когнитивно-дискурсивный подход. Проведены лексико-семантический и контекстуальный анализ, когнитивная интерпретация 106 афоризмов современных немецкоязычных авторов.1

Результаты

Результаты. В немецкоязычном афористическом дискурсе актуализированы только две смысловые доминанты из трёх, зафиксированных в лексикографических источниках. Репрезентированы локальный и темпоральный признаки концепта HEIMAT. Превалирует понятие «внутренней, духовной» Родины. Восприятие Родины зависит от возраста человека. Образная составляющая концепта представлена метафорическим переносом «Родина для человека – почва для растения».

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Выявление признаков базовых концептов в афористическом дискурсе позволит внести вклад в лингвокультурологические и когнитивные исследования национальных картин мира.

Aim

Aim. To identify and describe the representation peculiarities of the concept HEIMAT in the modern German aphoristic discourse.

Methodology

Methodology. A combination of cognitive and discourse approaches as well as a linguocultural analysis of language units was used in the data analysis. A total of 106 samples were taken from the modern German authors (the second half of XX – the beginning of XXI centuries).

Results

Results. According to the analysis, only two semantic dominants out of three recorded in lexicographical sources are actualized in the German aphoristic discourse. Local and temporal features of the HEIMAT concept are represented. The concept of the “inner, spiritual” homeland prevails. The perception of the homeland depends on a person’s age. The figurative component of the concept is represented by the metaphorical transfer “homeland for a person is a soil for growth.”

Research implications

Research implications. These findings may help us to understand different linguocultures and allow determining the peculiarities of the national pictures of the world.
