Выявить и рассмотреть лингвистические средства актуализации самоуничижительного юмора в стендап-шоу как особом виде юмористического дискурса.</p></sec><sec><title>Процедура и методы</title><p>Процедура и методы. Для установления лингвостилистических и прагматических характери­стик текста стендап-шоу использовался контекстуальный и когнитивно-дискурсивный анализ.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. В исследовании доказан высокий прагматический потенциал дискурса «развле­кательного унижения», предложена его тематическая классификация, рассмотрены основные характеристики самоуничижительного юмора, а также выявлены языковые (гипербола, срав­нение, ирония, контраст, олицетворение) и неязыковые (мимика, жесты) средства создания комического эффекта в стендап-шоу.</p><p>Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Настоящее исследование может быть полез­ным для расширения представлений о категории комического и функционировании юмори­стического дискурса в современном медиапространстве.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Aim</title><p>Aim. To identify and analyse linguistic means of expressing self-deprecating humour in stand-up shows as a special type of humorous discourse.</p></sec><sec><title>Methodology</title><p>Methodology. To establish linguistic, stylistic and pragmatic characteristics of the stand-up show texts contextual and cognitive-discourse analysis was used.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. The research proves the high pragmatic potential of “entertaining humiliation”; presents its thematic classification; reveals the most common linguistic (hyperbole, simile, irony, contrast, personification) and extralinguistic (gestures and facial expressions) means that create humorous effect in the stand-up shows.</p></sec><sec><title>Research implications</title><p>Research implications.
