Цель. Сравнить класс коннекторов, модальных частиц и дискурсивных маркеров в немецком языке с позиции их функциональных особенностей и выявить их сходства и различия, а также определить роль коннекторов в рамках категории модальности.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. В работе на основании описательного, сопоставительного и трансфор­мационного методов были проанализированы синтаксические особенности коннекторов, вы­явлены сходства и отличия между коннекторами и классом модальных частиц и дискурсив­ных маркеров.

Результаты

Результаты. В статье доказано, что в разговорной речи коннекторы могут выступать в функ­ции модальных частиц и дискурсивных маркеров, связывая части диалога в единое целое и создавая логический переход от одной темы к другой. Коннекторы обладают также и допол­нительной прагматической функцией.

Теоретическая и практическая значимость. Результаты исследования весьма полезны как для коммуникативной лингвистики, так и для теоретической грамматики немецкого языка. Полу­ченные данные могут найти применение в дальнейшем изучении коннекторов в немецком языке.

Aim

Aim. To compare the class of connectors, modal particles and discursive markers in the German language from the point of view of their functional features and identify their similarities and differ­ences, as well as determine the role of connectors within the category of modality.

Methodology

Methodology. Based on the descriptive, comparative and transformational methods, the syntactic features of connectors were analyzed, the similarities and differences between connectors and the class of modal particles and discursive markers were revealed.

Results

Results. The article proves that in the colloquial speech connectors can act as modal particles and discursive markers, linking the parts of a dialogue into a single whole and creating a logical transition from one topic to another. Connectors also have an additional pragmatic function.

Research implications

Research implications. The results of the study are useful both for communicative linguistics and theoretical grammar of the German language. The data obtained can be used in the further study of connectors in the German language.
