Цель – рассмотреть проявление социолингвистических аспектов полилингвизма в образовательной среде Республики Казахстан. Процедура и методы. Материалом для исследования послужили данные, взятые при помощи опосредованного наблюдения (от учительницы школы-лицея и одной из студенток КарГТУ), результаты опроса (84 респондентов) и беседы (с учительницей и студенткой). Методами исследования выступили: беседа, опрос, опосредованное наблюдение. Результаты. Произведённое исследование полилингвизма в образовательной среде Казахстана и анализ его социолингвистических аспектов (наряду с педагогическими, психологическими и др.) позволило отметить, что система обучения в стране направлена на поддержание развития различных языков, и сейчас большинство учащихся в качестве языка обучения выбирает государственный язык. Языковые контакты, такие как переключение, смешение кодов и интерференция, были замечены в речи учащихся, нами также выявлены основные причины переключения, сфера применения языков и влияние обучения на нескольких языках на психологическое состояние ребёнка. Теоретическая и практическая значимость. Результаты исследования расширяют представление о социолингвистических аспектах полилингвизма в образовании. Они способствуют дальнейшему развитию многоязычного образования и могут использоваться для реализации идеи полилингвального образования, а также при преподавании курса социолингвистики.

Aim. To consider the manifestation of the sociolinguistic aspects of multilingualism in the educational environment of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Methodology. The material for the study was data taken with the help of indirect observation (from a teacher of a lyceum school and one of the students of KSTU of the city of Karaganda), the results of a survey (84 high school students and students) and conversations (with a teacher and a student). The research methods were conversation, survey, indirect observation. Results. The study of multilingualism in the educational environment of Kazakhstan and the analysis of its sociolinguistic aspects (along with pedagogical, psychological, etc.) made it possible to note that the education system is aimed at supporting development of different languages, and now most students choose the state language as the language of instruction. Language contacts, such as switching, code mixing and interference, were noticed in the speech of students, the scope of languages and the impact of learning in several languages on the child’s psychological state. Research implications. The results of the study expand the understanding of the sociolinguistic aspects of multilingualism in education. They contribute to the further development of multilingual education and can be used to implement the idea of multilingual education, as well as in teaching the course of sociolinguistics.
