В статье рассматриваются ос- новные положения теории немецкого историка искусства Ханса Бельтинга, изложенной им в его книге «Конец истории искусства?». Показыва- ется, как в современном западном искусствове- дении идет процесс пересмотра основных норм и принципов классической истории искусства и становление новой истории искусства.
