Статья посвящена объективации английской национально-культурной ценности «privacy» в семантике фразеологизмов-антро- пономинантов (ФАН) со структурой N+N, A+N, V+N. Поскольку ценности локализованы в чело- веческом сознании и недоступны непосредствен- ному восприятию, лингвистический анализ таких фразеологических единиц обеспечивает доступ к зафиксированной в них ценностно-культурной информации.
The article deals with means of representing the national and cultural value privacy by phraseological units nominating people with the structure: N+N, A+N, V+N. As values are located in a persons consciousness and are not accessible to immediate perception, their linguistic analysis provides access to the cultural information fixed in such units.
