В статье рассматриваются видо-временные формы пропозиции перформативных глаголов (guess, confess, assume) в репрезентативных речевых актах. Автор анализирует аспектуальные формы данных глаголов, выделяя претеритальную, презентную и футуральную темпоральную перспективы высказываний. Кроме того, в статье выделяются основные синтаксические структуры репрезентативных речевых актов и типы сказуемого в их пропозиции. Материалом исследования послужили произведения художественной литературы XX-XXI вв. англоязычных авторов: Дж. Апдайка, Д. Брауна, Дж. Гришема, Н. Новик, Ч. Паланика, Ш. Харрис и других. В ходе анализа было выделено 840 контекстных употреблений репрезентативных речевых актов.

The article deals with aspectual verbal forms of performative verbs (guess, confess, assume) in the proposition of representative utterances. The author analyzes the aspectual forms of these verbs, defining them as preterital, presential and futural. The main syntactical structures of representative speech acts and the types of predicate in propositions of this type of utterances are described in the article. Works of modern English writers J. Updike, D. Brown, J. Grisham, N. Novik, Ch. Palahniuk, Ch. Harris and others have been analyzed, and 840 examples of contextual usage of representative speech acts have been singled out
