В статье рассматривается отражение языковой личности в англоязычном пародийном тексте с учетом её уподобления языковой личности автора ориги- нального текста. Внимание сосредоточено на склонности автора пародии усиливать модальный аспект собственно- го текста через активное использование модальных слов и выражений. Отмечается, что характер оригинального текста заметным образом влияет на модальность текс- та-пародии, обнаруживающего, таким образом, стилевую и функциональную детерминированность. Допустимо за- явить также об определенной зависимости лексического состава модальных средств текста-пародии от стилевой принадлежности текста-оригинала.
The article deals with the language personality of mock text as it is coordinated with that of the original text. Special attention is paid to the authors intention to enhance the modality of his own text by means of various modal words and expressions. The author claims that the very nature of the original text influences the modality of the mock text which consequently shows stylistic and functional dependence. It is also possible to state that the mock text is to a large extent conditioned by the stylistic and functional characteristics of the original text with respect to the lexical peculiarities of modal words and expressions.
