Основное внимание в статье уделено описанию ситуации в сфере современного перевода, когда переводчик постоянно сталкивается с цифровыми технологиями и перцептивно ориентированной культурой. Переводчики, которые традиционно работали в интерпретирующей и рефлективной манере, ставят перед собой задачу преодоления новой исторической ситуации, возникшей из-за новых тенденций в экономике и маркетинге. В статье предлагаются этимологические исследования понятий устного и письменного перевода, которые в нынешней ситуации могут быть полезными для решения этих задач.

The main focus of this paper is to illustrate and explain our interpreting and translation actualities which have been continuously confronted with digital technology and its perceptive-oriented culture. Nowadays digital society demands us to transfer and receive the messages as quickly as possible without any reflection for profound comprehension. For the purpose, I set up firstly some etymological concepts of interpreting and translation, which in the present situation could be useful to implement these tasks.
